sketch

nudesketch, originally uploaded by boxspring.

I sold a painting last year at the diy trunk show based on this drawing. It was on found plywood that was painted a light green or blue.

I've been thinking about old paintings, I seem to have a lot hanging around my house, most I haven't even shown anyone or taken photos of. This will be change in the next few months as I start to go through everything and photograph most of my old work, some will be posted on this blog, some on flickr. Keep a look out for new stuff in the next few weeks.

Thank you

Hello everyone, sorry for the extreme lack of post lately, just got busy with shows such as the diy trunk show and art vs. craft, both of which were successful for me. Also, I have a few paintings and some cards as Pistol Bazaar in Wicker Park (1417 N. Wood st open weekends 12-5.) As many who fallow me and my cards, you may have noticed lots of new stuff at the shows; I've been working hard on new stuff in the past few months, and will continue to do so in the future.

I've taken lots of suggestions for new cards, new ideas such as the penguin and octopus cards that will be coming out shortly, as well as making some more of the larger paintings based on the cards and making size specific frames, as many people told me the love to have the cards displayed.

In the future, Boxspring Creative will have some more offerings online, more card choices, more art and possibly an art blog, and a catalogue request form for the stuff that's not online. So thank you for coming to see me over the last few weeks, I really enjoy talking to everyone that stopped by.
