I'm going to the art vs. craft show on saturday, not as a vendor, but as a customer. I wanted to take part in this one, but time got the better of me, and imissed the deadline. Oh Well. I really didn't have much product to do a show anyway, time has really been spent helping the boss with the bakery and our new endevors in the shortbread kingdom.

I'm just going to see what other people are doing, not that my stuff is boring or anything, I just feel that being informed of what others are doing, i can offer something that is different and exciting.

In the next few months, I will be working on this website, with the help of friends, updating some stuff, changing some other stuff, and of course adding some new cards at some point. I have the catalouge ready to go, but no place to request it, one of the things that will change. I'm also going to streamline the ordering of cards online, making it less about e-mail tag and more of getting to the point.

Change will be good.

I'm working on the cruiser bike today, finishing the paint and cleaning the older parts that will remain for the time being. I'm debating if I should make a tank insert or not, it won't be a tank, more of a panel that fits the space. The idea is to put the flying bat monkey logo and/or the bike name, X1857. I've got all the parts for the front end, new fork and headset, handle bars and stem, so the front for all intents and purposes is done, it just needs the frame.

Sorry, I haven't been real bloggy of late. I need to finish some photo work and start work on the wooden bike this weekend and then I'll post some stuff. The last few weekends have been dominated by working on the cruiser bike; I've been painting it when the weather clears up, adding layers of paint when I can.

The wood bike will be something that I'm sure won't take as long to finish as the cruiser. I'm going to cut the wood to make the frame this weekend. I still need to decide on components, I have an idea of what I want; I just need to find the right stuff. Chrome or polished aluminum fork, handle bar type, crank set up and such.
