Found this at an antique store last week, it’s an Olivetti Underwood Lettera 33. I was not sure if I should buy it at first, but after walking around and thinking, I couldn't pass it up. Just something to add to the collection, need to figure out how to display some of these.
Italian designed, built in Barcelona, Spain. Circa 1968-1971.
Brushed metal trim with jet-black leathered finish. Red case.
I did some research and found out that Francis Ford Coppola wrote the screenplay for The Godfather on one of these.
I should get an accurate count of all my typewriters; I think I have at least eleven hiding about the house.
